architecture for the hair
architecture for the hair
a legacy written in every strand.
Duomo Color wasn’t built overnight. It’s the result of years of careful work—rooted in the grand architectural beauty of Italy, and crafted for hair artists who demand both elegance and performance. From an idea with no name to a full identity, the Duomo color line became a brand with history, resilience, and soul. And it's only getting bigger.
when color becomes culture.
built from the ground up.
This wasn’t a surface-level design exercise. It was a complete immersion—brand strategy, naming, identity, packaging, marketing collateral, education guides, swatchbooks, murals, and salon experiences across the world. Every detail, from business cards to trade-show booths, carried the same spirit of timeless craftsmanship. Seriously, we put in some work.
90 shades of history.
The Duomo color line was built like a love letter to Italy: Milano Natural, Firenze Copper, Vesuvius Ash, San Marco Gold. Each of the 90+ shades named after a place that actually means something, carries a story, holds a feeling. When we launched the Vivid Collection, we paired every one of the 12 vivid shades with hand-illustrated landmarks, bringing Italy's incredible architecture right into the salon chair.
craftsmanship at every scale.
I wasn't about to let this get messed up in production, so I flew to Italy with the client. We stood in factories, checked the process, every pigment, every tiny printed detail to make sure it matched what we'd envisioned. What started as a few sketches on paper turned into this whole system that's now in salons all over the world.
I obessed over the details for Duomo. It was all designed with the kind of patience and care that refuses to cut corners, even when no one would notice. You can see more of the other Duomo products I worked on here.
If you're building something that matters and you know real craftsmanship can't be faked, let's talk.
If you want to create something original that'll stick around and mean something, I'm here for it.
